We are still celebrating our first birthday and today we are sharing one of our favorite birthday treat recipes!
As many of you may know, my family and I lived in Australia for two years. Most things (customs, food, etc.) are the same over there as they are here in America. But one thing about birthdays that we would call crazy here, is this simple (and surprisingly good) treat called fairy bread.
All you need is some white bread, butter and non-pareil sprinkles. Literally, that’s it! Spread a generous layer of butter on your piece of bread and then cover it with sprinkles.
After we covered the bread in sprinkles, we used cookie cutters to make fun shapes, but you can always just cut the bread into smaller squares and serve!
