mom's christmas tea | christmas traditions
The craziness of finals is over but the craziness of last minute Christmas shopping is beginning! Stay tuned for some of the Bradshaw family traditions that we are sharing with you this week!
Yesterday we made the first batch of my mom’s Christmas Tea. We’ve always made it hot, but since it is 75 degrees this week, we decided to try it iced and it may be one of my new favorite everyday drinks!
Mom’s Christmas Tea:
- 1 cup instant tea
- 2 cups Tang
- 1 cup lemonade mix (powdered)
- ½ tsp ground cloves
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
Mix all the dry ingredients in a large bowl. Store in a sealed baggie or container.
We usually add 2-3 tablespoons of the dry mix to a mug of hot water for a nice hot, spiced tea but since it is so warm this year we added 2-3 tablespoons of the dry mix to a glass of ice water. Make sure to mix it well!
